And now for something completely different! The Immortals review their first Bogie film with High Sierra, Pedro makes his opinions on The Beatles very clear (again) with Abbey Road, everyone has One Fine Day and then they make way for the epic Monty Python’s Flying Circus. Get excited!
This is a big episode because J.C. joins The Immortals! They are in for a big episode as the gang watches another Fellini film, listen to even more glam rock, and travel to Fantasy Island. Also Pedro may actually be forced to admit that The Beatles are good after listening to Hey Jude.
The Immortals return and they hope that you’ll enjoy the show. They listen to Mexican waltzes, Spanish political documentaries and a little thing called Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band! They once again are up against Germany as they refuse to ever give us subtitles—this time for children’s poetry. They also rock out to fantastic live performances. Also they review grapes. They’re just grapes! Plain ole grapes! And they review them!
The Immortals return for their last catch-up bonus episode! Pedro is here to confusingly guide us through some sort of weird French song that is definitely not French, the richness of early hip-hop and Tomorrow Never Knows, one of the stranger Beatles songs ever recorded. At least that’s what Don Draper thinks. Get excited.
